Delicious Greek Food at CYMA, Mediterranean Diet for a Healthy Heart! OPA!

We are at Eastwood Mall this week because we joined the Eastwood Mall Books and Brews Fair from September 4 to 12, 2015. For our dining options during we had to go to CYMA our favorite Greek Restaurant. CYMA is always one my top 5 choices of Best Restaurants to go to. I'm a very health conscious person and everything they serve here is of good quality, freshly cooked, delicious and very healthy. The Greek Fusion of food is so temptingly tasty and is very unique compared to most Asian restaurants you will find in malls.

Greek Food is known to be rich in healthy ingredients like Olive Oil, Tomatoes, Zuchinni and lots of other delicious vegetables and Cheese. The island of Ikaria, Greece has been considered as a "Blue Zone"—a region of the world where people tend to live unusually long and healthy lives— this was unknown to most. But in the past few years, Ikaria has received considerable attention from scientists and journalists who wanted to unlock the mysteries of its long-living residents—many of whom make it to age 100 or older. And the secret to this is their Mediterranean Diet which is served at CYMA.

The view from our table. Beautiful Greek Gods and Goddess illustrations on the walls.

The Ambiance inside CYMA was cozy with soft yellow lighting and ropes on the ceiling with the feeling that you are inside a greek ship.

We love to order the SAGANAKI or the Flaming Cheese where the server will light up the cheese in flames in front of your table before they serve it and you will hear all the servers all shout "Opa" when it lights up. This is one of their best selling appetizers in the restaurant. The waiters here are very service oriented, speaks really good English and memorizes your orders without writing them.

The Saganaki or Flaming Cheese

The Saganaki after the flames disappear and is served on your table.

I always order the Roka Salata the Best Tasting Salad ever! But we went here today for Merienda so I skipped that one but do not go to CYMA without trying it. '

We also ordered the Leonides Pasta it's a healthy dish filled with Zuchinni, Eggplant, Tomatoes and Ricotta Cheese.
Normally the servings here are big even if it says its SOLO it is enough to share with 2 or 3 persons.

For dessert my favorite is the Greek Yogurt, but if you are on  a diet it is recommended to eat this first. Greek Yogurt is highly rich in protein and will make you full so fast.
