Greek Food is known to be rich in healthy ingredients like Olive Oil, Tomatoes, Zuchinni and lots of other delicious vegetables and Cheese. The island of Ikaria, Greece has been considered as a "Blue Zone"—a region of the world where people tend to live unusually long and healthy lives— this was unknown to most. But in the past few years, Ikaria has received considerable attention from scientists and journalists who wanted to unlock the mysteries of its long-living residents—many of whom make it to age 100 or older. And the secret to this is their Mediterranean Diet which is served at CYMA.
The view from our table. Beautiful Greek Gods and Goddess illustrations on the walls. |
The Ambiance inside CYMA was cozy with soft yellow lighting and ropes on the ceiling with the feeling that you are inside a greek ship.
We love to order the SAGANAKI or the Flaming Cheese where the server will light up the cheese in flames in front of your table before they serve it and you will hear all the servers all shout "Opa" when it lights up. This is one of their best selling appetizers in the restaurant. The waiters here are very service oriented, speaks really good English and memorizes your orders without writing them.
